The document can support a compliance review, but it does not automatically prove that every product in a supplier's catalog is certified. 1. Locate the certificate number and issuing body
Start with the identifier printed on the certificate, not a filename or a marketing badge. Record the certificate number, the standard name, the issuing or testing organization and the named company or facility. A buyer should be able to match those fields to the PDF and to the supplier's current compliance record.

2. Read the scope instead of relying on the logo
The scope is the part that connects a certificate to a real supply chain. Check the listed fibre types, fabric constructions, processing activities, product groups and facility names. If the document covers a factory or material family but does not identify the exact product, request a written mapping or a current scope confirmation before calling the product certified.

4. Match the certificate to the fabric and factory
For a buyer's approval file, compare the certificate scope with the product specification and the actual production route. A catalogue product may be a representative construction while the order uses a different blend, finish or facility. Ask the supplier to confirm the match in writing and retain that confirmation with the sample approval.
Changle's certificate and compliance records page lists OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate number 23.HCN.30713, TESTEX AG as the testing institute and an annual renewal note. The page also states that buyers should confirm the latest renewal and scope. Product-to-certificate coverage for an individual style must therefore remain a verification item until the compliance owner confirms it.
5. Keep certification separate from performance approval
OEKO-TEX review addresses a defined material safety scope. It does not replace tests for GSM, stretch recovery, colour fastness, pilling, air permeability, shrinkage or garment performance. Keep certification evidence and product quality evidence as separate lines in the buyer approval record.
Which products should be checked during a compliance inquiry?
For a project using stretch mesh, buyers can review the nylon-spandex power mesh sample or the polyester-spandex power mesh lining as product directions. These links help define the material being discussed; they do not by themselves establish certificate coverage. Include the exact style, composition, colour and producing facility in the compliance question.
Send the certificate number, product code, composition, facility, target market and required approval date in one inquiry.
