Fabric families available for sampling and bulk order
Changle Textile supplies fabric families for apparel, lining, support and functional textile programs. Buyers compare category-level differences here before choosing a specific construction or SKU.
- Mesh fabric
- Tricot fabric
- Sportswear fabric
- Underwear fabric
At this stage, the buyer usually does not need the final SKU yet. The more useful question is which fabric family deserves deeper sampling first. A sports jersey body, a lining panel, a swim shell, a support zone and a coated outdoor insert may all require fabric sourcing, but they do not belong to the same category shortlist. The page separates those category-level decisions before the project moves into product-level comparison.
Category-to-application mapping
| Application or buyer brief | Main category starting point | Why that category usually comes first | Typical next move |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sports jerseys, training tops, gymwear | Sportswear Fabric | Covers body-fabric performance, print route, wash stability and activewear construction fit | Compare related products or sportswear guides |
| Ventilation mesh, visible athletic inserts, breathable linings | Mesh Fabric | Best when structure openness, airflow and panel use are still the main issues | Compare mesh SKUs or airflow-focused guides |
| Body-close underwear, bra lining, support panels | Underwear Fabric | Best when handfeel, opacity, support role and intimate-use comfort matter most | Compare underwear body, lining or support options |
| Swim shell, swim lining, stretch beachwear | Swimwear Fabric | Best when stretch recovery, shell-versus-lining role and print suitability drive the brief | Review swim category, then shell/lining comparison |
| Smooth lining, warp-knit inner layer, low-profile support structure | Tricot Fabric | Best when a cleaner surface and smoother warp-knit structure are more relevant than open mesh | Compare tricot SKUs or lining-related guides |
| Coated, outdoor, technical-use, bag or reinforcement projects | Outdoor Functional Fabric | Best when coating compatibility, stability and exposure condition matter more than soft apparel comfort | Compare technical category pages and target products |
How buyers usually separate category choice from SKU choice
Category selection usually starts with end use, fabric structure, performance expectations and finishing needs. Buyers often narrow the shortlist by asking whether the program needs open mesh airflow, smooth tricot surface, stretch-led sportswear performance, support-panel stability or comfort-first underwear handfeel.
SKU selection starts later. Once the category is already fixed, the buyer moves into more detailed questions such as GSM window, width, print method, stretch direction, finish route, opacity level or support force. If those category-level decisions are still open, product comparison is usually premature because the shortlist is being built from the wrong level.
Typical category questions before quotation
Is the project still choosing a fabric family, or already comparing specifications?
If the discussion is still about whether the project belongs in mesh, tricot, sportswear, underwear, swimwear or functional fabric, the buyer is still at category level. If the discussion has already shifted to composition, GSM, width, finish, opacity or test target, the project is usually ready to leave the category hub and shift to product-level review.
Does the project need one category or more than one fabric role?
Many briefs need more than one fabric role. Sportswear often separates body fabric and ventilation mesh. Underwear often separates body fabric, lining and support panel. Swimwear often separates shell, lining and control panel. If more than one role exists, the buyer should shortlist each role separately instead of trying to solve all positions through one category.
What usually blocks a clean category choice?
The most common blockers are vague end use, missing performance priority, unclear panel role and incomplete RFQ inputs. If the buyer still cannot say whether the project is driven by airflow, support, softness, print appearance, recovery or coating compatibility, category selection stays too broad and product comparison becomes noisy.
Buyer checklist before opening product detail pages
- Garment role: body fabric, lining, support panel, shell fabric, mesh insert or technical component
- Category direction: mesh, tricot, sportswear, underwear, swimwear or functional fabric
- Performance target: airflow, opacity, smoothness, recovery, print route, abrasion or coating compatibility
- Commercial stage: sampling, development, repeat order or quotation
- Basic spec window: expected GSM range, width, color or finish target
- Approval method: handfeel review, wash stability, stretch recovery, opacity check or formal testing
Recommended next-step paths
- Application-driven briefs are usually easier to narrow on the Applications page.
- Incomplete quotation requests usually benefit from the fabric RFQ guide.
- Commercial sampling and quotation work usually starts on the relevant category page or Contact Us page.
- Technical comparisons often continue in these English guides:
RFQ Preparation
Need a cleaner quotation brief before category review?
When pricing is the next step but the request still lacks enough fabric detail, review the fabric RFQ guide before sending samples requests or quotation inquiries.
