Featured product directions

Tricot usually serves three main applications

Nylon-spandex tricot options cover shiny 4-way stretch (120–145 GSM) for swimwear shells, matte surface variants for activewear programs, and UPF 50+ treated constructions for outdoor-adjacent use. Polyester-spandex tricot covers utility applications including bean-bag shells and beach tent fabric in stabilized structures above 150 GSM.

Tricot fabric surface finish, GSM and stretch direction options

Key commercial checks

  • Directional stretch and recovery: Some tricots fit body-close shell use, others fit utility or firmer lining work.
  • Face quality: Define whether the project needs a smoother skin-side tricot or a more structural utility hand.
  • Use environment: Swimwear, underwear lining, activewear and utility panels should not share one vague tricot approval process.
  • Bulk behavior: Width stability, edge behavior and post-finish shape should be stated before quotation.
