This heavy-weight high-compression power net fabric, our article number power-mesh-250gsm, is made from 15% spandex and 85% nylon.

This 250 GSM high-compression Raschel powernet is engineered for firm body-shaping support. The dense knit layout stretches lengthwise and crosswise while holding stronger panel tension than standard lining mesh. It fits shapewear, medical girdles, orthopedic support bands, corsets, bras, tummy-control panels and selected swimwear or activewear support zones that still need mesh ventilation.
Precision Warp-Knit Raschel Engineering
Produced on advanced European warp-knit Raschel 4-bar machinery, power-mesh-250gsm keeps a highly uniform mesh layout. This structure helps lock the elastic spandex fibers securely within the nylon matrix, reducing loop slippage, fraying and runs under heavy physical strain.

At 250 GSM, this warp-knit Raschel powernet provides superior opacity and dimensional stability for shapewear, corset, underwear, and swimwear.
Ideal for applications requiring visible compression, firmer panel hold and heavier support than ordinary power mesh lining can give. It is not the right first option when the project still needs soft skin feel, light support or a more flexible lingerie-panel handfeel.
Main bulk risks usually appear in over-compression, harsh handfeel, seam stress and panel mismatch when the fabric is approved only by GSM and stretch percentage.
